So I watched the new Microsoft ad featuring the über geek Gates and ‘funny man’ Seinfeld! The series of ads purportedly cost $100 million to shoot and air. These 2 statements leave me bewildered at just what Microsoft were thinking. The ad is funny, but for all the wrong reasons, I’m laughing at the pair not with them. It’s almost like the geeky kid has come up with a ‘kick ass’ ad in his bedroom as opposed to the cool design dude at Apple making the ‘hi I’m a mac and I’m a PC’ ads. It’s just embarrasing.
