It appears that a new Gaming Shop is coming to Harborough on St Mary’s Road. ‘Chips’ are currently fitting out the old Trentuno store.
Having done some investigation I found this retail chain www.chipsworld.co.uk which has got quite a few stores throughout the UK, however none in Leicestershire which suggests Harborough would be a good location. The group tout themselves as ‘The UK’s Largest Independent Video Game Retailer’ which could give Blockbuster a run for their money. Competition is good.

It appears my suspicions are true. The old Trentuno is now a gaming shop called Chips

i think its about time that market harborough deserve a game shop the only place you could buy games was blockbusters its fanstic

Its a shame really its not a very good store, was hoping for something better, but the prices are poor and the selection is very rubbish. Although if you go to their website everything is cheaper on there. http://www.chipsworld.co.uk Not sure if you can order online and pick up in store but worth a try, as the store prices are crazy high

My name is Andy Colclough and as the new owner of the Chips store in Market Harborough, I was very disappointed to read your comments.
As a consequence, I would like to invite you to the store where, if you would make yourself known to myself or the other members of staff, I would be glad to discuss your concerns, what improvements you might suggest and the plans I have for the future.
Personally, I feel we are competitive on new games and always try to stock the latest releases. Our second hand selection is second to none. Also, I believe our trade in prices are the best around. I very much look forward to meeting with you.

Andy, from what I’ve seen of the store (from the outside), it looks like a really well stocked and managed shop. I’m really pleased independent retailers are coming to the town, it’s what gives Harborough the character it needs and as I said in the first place – Competition is good.
I hope you go from strength to strength.
