It seems a company called Tanvic Tyres is wanting to take the old Welland Valley foods premises on Leicester Road. Planning permission, submitted on 02/08/2010 is ‘Pending Consideration‘.

Is this a good move or a bad move for that part of town? I suppose it’s good in the respect of  filling empty premises, although I had hopes of another non-high street store taking it. The site has good prominence as one drives out of town, so hopefully the tyre place will do well.
