I saw this on TV the other day and thought it to be very profound and effective. It goes something like this…

If you’re asking me to do work for you, you may only have 2 off the triangle.
Examples:
If you want the work Good & Cheap, don’t expect it Fast
If you want the work Good & Fast, don’t expect it Cheap
If you want the work Fast & Cheap, don’t expect it Good

This is a wonderful way of looking at commissioning any type of work, whether it’s a plumber, a web designer or a decorator.

Having watched the advert for the Oral-B electric toothbrush, the one where things start shaking and moving, it dawned on me that if we wish to save the environment, we must all ditch our electric tooth brushes and revert back to manual brushing.

How much energy are we wasting by charging up these unnecessary devices? For those that don’t clean their teeth, well done for saving the planet!!! Pity about your smelly breath mouth though.

This paid for app (£1.79) is a very good example of what fun things can be done with the iphone. Basically, take a photo, preferably face-on of someone’s face and pop it into pr-made masks to make and ‘old’ version of the person.
