So I’ve had my Oakley sandal type shoes for just over 3 weeks now and I’d just like to say they’re great, really comfortable and easy to wear. I still haven’t been able to run backwards I’m them, but hey I guess I’ll just have to keep moving forward.
Do they make me a better person? I doubt it. Do they make me a better Web Designer? I doubt that either. Do they keep my feet comfortable and cool? You’d better bloody believe it.

The Rubber Factory has gone, the groundworks have been dug and now the new development by the river side is rising to the Harborough skies. But what does this mean for our (not so) little town?
Will it mean a thriving community development or more vacant ‘apartments’? Already the second plaza phase has been shelved which’d make me think the future’s not bright. A pessimistic view I know, but hey, how many flats can a town sustain?
I hope they manage to complete the extension to the Millennium Mile and the new foot bridge over the River Welland.

So it was a drab day at the Buxton Carnival (July 2008), rainy but quite enjoyable, we were making our way back to the campsite we were residing at and these 2 beauties appeared. I thought ‘there goes the future of Britain…’ I marveled at their finesse in their well fitted carnival outfits and especially at their choice of beverage.
Then a few questions trickled into my shocked brain…
How on earth does a 14 year old (I guess at that age) start drinking Special Brew? What possible thought process occurs for her to think mmmmm I fancy some Special Brew today? What right minded off-licensee sold her the drink? What state were they in later if they started off like this?
I concluded that Britain is in safe hands, especially when these pair are given the right to vote.

I thought I’d try a flickr test by feeding a photo from my iphone onto flickr and back into my blog. Here it is. The picture’s of Il Granito btw. This hi-lights the power of the iphone, in my opinion, the best mobile device I’ve had my grubby little fingers on by far.
